Responsibilities:
• Visiting clients’ homes to provide scheduled pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, attention, exercise, affection and companionship.
• Administer medication and follow any special care instructions provided by the pet owners.
• Ensure pets are safe, healthy, and comfortable during visits.
• Maintain communication with pet owners through updates, photos, and reports as required.
• Ahere to specific routines and preferences as outlined by the pet owners.
• Clean up after pets, including litter boxes, cages and outdoor waste.
• Report any unusual behavior, health concerns, or emergencies to the pet owner and company management.
• Handle house-sitting duties as needed, such as collecting mail, watering plants, and ensuring home security.
• Be punctual, professional, and reliable for all scheduled visits.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols to ensure the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
• Genuine love and respect for animals, with prior experience in pet care preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners professionally.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain routines.
• Comfortable working with pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Physically able to handle long walks, lifting, and other pet care tasks.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to flex schedule as needed
• Required to pass a background check
• Ability to work in a drug-free, alcohol-free, tobacco-free environment

Job Type: Part-Time
Expected hours: This position starts at approximately 10 hours per week. If you demonstrate reliability by consistently showing up to appointments on time and performing excellent work, there will be opportunities to increase your hours as client demand grows and trust is established.
